Knowledge is a dynamic entity. The truth or facts we know about is space-time dependent. In any given present, the whole truth remains as present as it can be. But with every changing moment this truth keeps moving on, creating a continuum of reality for us, in form of memories we can’t ignore. Absence of consciousness in this present, corrupts our concepts as well as our imagination. As a result, ignorance deepens and darkens the mind.
The ground is now prepared for the mind to sow evil in forms of thoughts guiding our actions, and further tempering with a present mind. Focusing on this present is the art of being mindful — this is the meditation, where past and future vanishes, and as an spectator one can watch one's own thoughts and actions in motion, being well aware that there is a connected universal soul who remains vigilant and witness our within and without. That part of awareness where mind and body becomes mere tool at the disposal of the spectator — provides us with a glimpse of the conceptual infinity and eternity. This abundance enriches the soul and broadens the mind to further encapsulate information and form better concepts, to strengthen and inspire our imagination to seek peace and prosperity.
Ultimately, knowledge become a fiction or a reality, depending upon the wisdom of a rational social actor. It’s glass half-empty, half-full like situation. A character that is not fit for literature can never find place in history. Its only literature that knows all certainty, everything and anything is possible here. What science finds nonsense makes complete sense in literature. So, all the social norms, culture, and rituals that binds us together as parts and pieces of the universal soul is holy and religious, irrespective of the cult that's practicing it. Here we celebrate life, its affluence and diversity. These are the practices that enriches a civilisation. The more prosperity a person and its society can imagine, greater are the probabilities of experiencing that reality. Science have always tried to realise fiction in all its possibilities. Most of my family and social members lives and imagines poverty, misery and danger. Consequently, they live in fear praying to some literal imaginary idol to find cosmetic salvation. They fail to seek divinity within as well as without.
We live in a constant threat from various social, political and religious cults endangering our everyday life and livelihood. They themselves perceive and imagine danger on their own conceptual existence, as a result, they try to use each and every weapons at their commands to fight for what they find right. Morality has a relative proportion towards realtiy. We care and nurture evil in our own homes. We train a terrorist, and in our homes we build an army to defend ourselves from the devil of our own creation. We are our own worst enemies and we fail to accept this reality, because we live in a constant fear of our owned ignorant concepts and imagination. We create the heaven and hell along with the world we live in.
In the darkness of these miserable space and time, that has blurred our vision, plagued our concepts and maligned our imagination, only a better vision can save our souls in present. Unless rescued in this present, our soul is doomed to chase an illusion crafted by our clever and shrewd mind looking for an adventure — full of memories of the past and desires for the future. Our mind lives in the danger of its own imagination, it is most afraid of the boredom, it finds engagement in death. It’s not the death that is behind fear, actually its life we fear from.
The better we train our mind to focus on our nearest past and future in this present, the greater is the possibility of finding joy every now and then. Its better to keep our minds occupied with the short term memories. It is wisdom of a wise man who can filter out only information from long term memories, separating it from other mental faculties. especially one that deals with emotions, our mid-brain. The more we focus on activities of new-brain, chances of sorrow and pains shrinks to fit within on comfort zones. In any case, our old brain is always looking to secure us, looking after our all survival needs. This part of rationality is present even within lifeless rocks, following the concept of inertia all through its existence. We do not have enough reasons or evidences to feel as threatened and volatile as we more often than not care about. Mindfulness is all about the present we own.
